We present to you: Our presentation on our video presentation in the form of a presentation

This was our title page for our presentation. The man in the shot is Newton Faulkner from one of his earlier photoshoots

We opened with facts bout his life including who he has woked with and how he grew up.

We talked about style in the video, we wanted to go for something indie much like the artist. The outer pictures were there to represent the acters in the video smart, yet casual and the central image is to show the lead singer and how he will be dressed in the shot
Here was a scan of our planing full of ideas. The printed text is lyrics from the song and the written words are ideas for shots, narrative and performance.
Here is a mood board we manufactured to show off what we wanted to play around with. The field and Newcastle's shots show he contrast in filming locations we want to explore. The red scarf stands for a bright item of clothing we can identify the characters with, much like a signature item. The Polaroids show that we want to use photographs as an on going theme throughout the piece that we can constantly refer to. We also have shots of both keys and coffee cups as we want to have an edited shot of them fading away as well as the girl in the video. The chair in the spotlight shows where we want to film performance. This mimics the tone of the song.
This slide depicts locations we want to film in. Newcastle and a rural field can act as a constant contrast through out. the song has tones of natural and smooth sounds but that artist himself is very urban. The bathroom was supposed to be a recurring theme as well. We are going to have a moment where he looks himself in the mirror to realise 'something'... we haven't decided yet. We are also going to be using a park bench for time-lapses.
the pills were going to become a hidden item, sort of always in the background thing. Fight club has a Starbucks coffee cup in every shot. We weren't going to go to that length but for all inside scenes we were going to make it a factor.

Here is a general idea for shots we can use. Top left depicts a time lapse and these will be used throughout the piece in small sections. The top right depicts fading. We are going t have the actress fade away in some scenes using camera trickery and editing skills. We are also going to be using a lot of close up shots. This means we can show facial expressions easily.
