So I actually made a survey

The survey is for what kind of video you want to see. We are all ready decided on what we want to do but it is nice to have the data there ready to prove yourself right.

Question 1 is age

50%-18        50%-17

This was our target audience so we aimed to give the surveys to that age group

Question 2 is Favourite Genre

40% said rock, light rock or indie, 40% said pop/chart and 20% says anything.

Our song is a mix of these two genres so we are really happy that everyone favourite type of music is our genre. It is really popular witht his age group.

Question 3 is How many videos do you watch monthly

80% of people said between 3-5 we had one person who watches up over 70

This shows that only the top of the range videos get shared  so e have to make a real cracker.

Question 4 narrative

All 100% of people claimed that the video story must be in tandom with the songs lyrics. We are hoping to do this as well in our video so that is a great response.

Question 5- One man and his guitar, do you like that style of singer

We asked how do you feel about the 'One man and his guitar' genre. All the girls we asked gave a 4-5 out of five and the boys were indifferent. This shows that our video has high potential with the female audience. just aswell we have a relationship narrative which is also popular, with girls, as show in question 6 (not boys)

Question 7 Song or narrative

There was a fifty fifty divide onto what is the most important aspect in a video 50% went song and 50% went story. Our video is planned to be heavily influenced on the song. This will grab the audience 

Question 8

Everyone liked indie music. Whilst the meaning of the word indie has skewed from it's original premise, we asked it in the mainstream terms.

95% like indie music whilst Callum hated it

other questions like whats your favorite music video and how long should a music video be were just there to get the reader thinking.
