Actors

Singer: For our singer we have chosen Peter Elliott, he has the look to pull off many styles, indie solo artist being one of them. We've chosen to make him wear a plain red jumper, black skinny jeans and black converse, this style makes the singer look comfortable and normal in what he is doing, but the style also suggests a smart casual attire which contrasts the casual dress of the Boy in our Video. Peter is also a very fun and confidant guy who starred as the main singer in the preliminary task wearing the one direction t shirt. Peter will act for the camera which will make our video more authentic withing the performance aspect.

Boy: The boy will be played by Ross Moore who also featured in the prelim task as the girl in the red wig, Ross keeps a very casual indie style with no in your face styles. This will help us portray the fact the boy doesn't put any effort into what he does. We will dress him in a plain t shirt and jeans at the start, nothing too exciting, then near the end of the video when the girl and the boy go on a date to get back together we will dress Ross in a blue shirt and a tie, hopefully this will help the viewers notice the contrast between his casual dress and his smart dress. Ross is also very natural on camera, he is great with body language which will help boost our marks on performance.

Girl: Victoria Potter will be playing the girl in our video, the girl will be dressed in a plain jumper (the colour hasn't been decided yet) a skinny black skirt, tights and plain shoes, this is a casual way to dress, however next to the boy in his casual attire it will boost the contrast between the effort they have put into their clothes. Victoria is also very confidant and natural on camera, this will help boost our marks on performance.

We have chosen these 3 actors for their ability to suit the style/genre of the music but also for the way they act on camera, we want everyone to look natural, if anyone looks awkward on camera as for we will lose marks for performance overall.
