What can we do with this song?

We decided on the song Uncomfortably Slow. The song is great, well paced and open to interpretation which is great for us because we can play around with it. We decided on the idea of an after break up and learning to cope with the after math.
 We are going to, first of all, take inspiration from Newton by using time lapses. this is a nod to many of his videos as they are often used. We can also use this to show that time is passing and that will be a major plot point.
 We are also going to look at hidden objects similar to fight club, where there is always a Starbucks coffee cup in each shot. we are going to do a similar thing but with an orange pills bottle. This will link to another theme depression. we are going to make it visible but not noticeable until the final few scenes in which it will be clear to the main character.
Speaking of character we are going to NOT use the singer as these themes can be quite controversial and we would not want to associate them with the artist as this could affect viewers opinions of him.
Another thing we wanted to include was photographs, these would be put in with the repeated lyric. Don't take my photograph, this would demonstrate how the character has changed since the breakup with out us having to introduce it from the start, since we only have 3 minutes or so of song.
Overall we have lots of ideas surrounding this song and we hope to get a great final product.
