Digipak design
I have
started to design the front cover of our digipak so that we are ahead of where
we need to be (it also stops me sitting around doing nothing). I’ve decided to
take inspiration for the first idea from Newton Faulkner’s UFO single cover.
The art involves lots of hollow 2D shapes which I have incorporated into my own
work. Obviously the tooth motif links to the name of the song ‘pulling teeth’.
The one bad tooth represents the parts of the narrative where Ross is not being
the best boyfriend and this needs to ‘pulled’. I also plan to play around with
the colours of the background and the broken tooth so keep an eye out for that.
As a side note I will mention that this may not be the final product as I will
be experimenting with other styles.
