So we just had a lights discussions. And they look cool we are using red heads
These bad boys, except in a puma case.
These lights will be used since we are filming in autumn you know early nights. Since alot of our work will be filmed inside also, natural lighting will not be our friend. remember that post I did about filming indoors, these lights can combat the lighting troubles. These lights come in a trio with build in tripods and black flipper things or "shutters". We have had a class discussion on safe usage that lasted about 15 minutes so i know literally everything about these lights, well not really, but enough. we also were told about these...
Whilst not professional, these are "back up lights". If you regonize them that is because they are building site lights. Yeah I know right!? apparently the school got them for a deal before the red heads. We will use this if another group steals the red heads (there are two sets).
Edit:
OH we have filters. White and orange translucent sheets. These are used to alter the bright false looking light. The orange is used to make skin and the surrounding look more warm and real. And the white is to soften the light to make it look less harsh. These filters are clipped onto lights with crocodile clippers, pretty neat.
